I can't believe I'm posting two of the least flattering pictures of my life , but this thing is life changing! These pics are two weeks apart after only using the dermal roller about seven times. I used it and then applied amara vitamin c serum then retinal cream. I'm obsessed I can't wait to see more results and I plan to buy the bigger size next! It's amazing! Don't hesistate! It's so cheap and life changing results!
The dermaroller is as described. I am new to dermarolling and decided to start with the .25 mm needle length. I think this length is good for general improvement of product penetration in the skin. If you have nice skin already and would like to incorporate this into your beauty routine, this length is enough, maybe .5 would be a bit better. It doesn't hurt when rolling, and I push a bit hard into the skin. For more dramatic results (ex: correcting acne scars), this length needle alone would not be adequate.
Here's some tips I have for dermarolling: test rolling on your hand to see if you're allergic, use Vitamin C serum and non-comedogenic moisturizer, DO NOT roll on active acne (this will spread bacteria and make you break out more), pick up the dermaroller off the skin in between strokes, sanitize the dermaroller before and after use (I soak it in rubbing alcohol and store it in the clear case it comes with), try to avoid wearing makeup after dermarolling(don't want makeup stuck deep down in the skin), and lastly, do not overdo it--depending on length of the needle, you'll need variant amounts of time between each session so the skin can heal, because remember you are puncturing holes into your face. I would definitely do some considerate research on dermarolling before starting.
